Hulu, the subscription Video on Demand service, is now offering its ads-included plan for free for the first 30 days as a free trial. The regular price is $9.99 a month and it will apply if you don’t cancel prior to the end of the first month.
This is a nice value for consumers looking for a streaming service, such as Hulu, that provides a mix of movies and TV shows. As you may know, Hulu has licensing deals with a number of networks which enables them to offer some shows the day after they air on their channels. The streamer also has many original shows including some top-quality programs produced by FX.
If you are interested in the 30-day free offer from Hulu, click here. The terms of the free offer say it’s available to new and eligible returning subscribers only. It does not definite “eligible returning subscribers.”

The TV Answer Man’s Picks For the Best Shows Coming to Hulu In February 2025:
The Kardashians, Season 6 (Hulu Original)
I’m not a Kardashian fan, but I can’t deny the appeal of Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, and Kris to the masses. So you’ve been duly informed that season six of the dysfunctional family semi-reality show returns to Hulu on February 6. The Hulu PR team says season six will focus on the motley crew dealing with “uncertain futures.” They’re billionaires. How uncertain can it be?Debuts February 6.
A Thousand Blows (Hulu Original)
Malachi Kirbv stars in this 12-episode series about an illegal boxer who’s recruited to help run an all-female shoplifting ring in the 19th Century. However, the plan hits a roadblock when he runs up against a punishing pugilist played by Stephen Graham. Based on a real story, the Hulu original promises to tap the vibe of the popular British crime drama, Peaky Blinders (PB’s creator, Stephen Knight wrote A Thousand Blows).Debuts February 21.
SLY LIVES! Aka The Burden of Black Genius (Hulu Original)
The Hulu original documentary will chronicle the erratic but brilliant career of Sly Stone, the leader of the 60s/70s soul band, Sly and the Family Stone. Despite producing such classic money makers as Dance to the Music, Stand and Everyday People, the musician suffered from severe depression and drug abuse and even wound up homeless for a stretch. The doc, directed by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, examines how Stone spiraled out of control but still managed to survive.Debuts February 13.
